MANSFIELD, Mass. – Senior Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team, the conference office announced Friday.
Coronis, a two-time NE10 Player of the Week this season, earns All-Conference accolades for the third time in her career and has now garnered a Second Team nod on two occasions. Coronis was one of four Penmen to play in all 23 matches and 89 sets, recording 346 kills (3.89 k/s), 30 service aces (0.34 sa/s), 248 digs (2.79 d/s) and 30 blocks (0.34 b/s). The 346 kills set a new single-season program record for Southern New Hampshire and also ranked third in the Northeast-10. Coronis led the league in kills per set and placed 15th in service aces per set.
For her career, Coronis finished second all-time in program history in kills (1,166) and matches played (104), as well as seventh in both hitting percentage (.241) and blocks (202).
